IRVINE, CA, February 17, 2025 – Hyundai Capital America (HCA) is pleased to announce the appointment of James Vincent as Chief Risk Officer (CRO), effective February 17. Vincent has been serving as the Interim CRO since July 2024 and now officially assumes the role, bringing over 20 years of experience in financial services and risk management.

Since joining HCA in 2016, Vincent has led the Enterprise Risk Management, Consumer Risk, Collections, and Consumer Credit departments, championing transformative change and enhanced operational efficiencies across the organization. He successfully realigned the Credit Department to adopt a more streamlined, customer-first approach to collections and played a key role in advancing HCA’s e-funding from 18% to 40%.

With Vincent at the helm of the Risk Division, HCA will continue to strengthen its risk management framework, regulatory compliance, and credit strategies to navigate the evolving financial landscape.

Prior to HCA, Vincent worked in risk management at Citizens Bank and Santander Bank. He holds his Bachelor of Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Management and Finance.
